Bayernhymne was the Anthem of the Kingdom of Bavaria From 1860 until 1918 it remains the Bavarian anthem until this day although the third verse the Königsstrophe isn't sung anymore
The melody of the song was written by Max Kunz in 1835 and The text for the original first three stanzas was written by Michael Öchsner.
