As a way to help expand the media presence of Betty Spaghetty and increase sales, Ohio Art would team up with TMC to release music based on the struggling doll line. "Smash Hits" was released in Scandinavian markets in 2003 and was a commercial failure. Two singles would be released.
Likely released as the first single, "Aiyo Aiyo" was co-written by A*Teens members Amit Paul and Dhani Lennevald. The single peaked at #15 in Sweden and would stay on the charts for only one week.
