In July 2017 Common and Kind returned to the Union Chapel, London. A sensational line-up of eight leading artists and groups from across the musical spectrum were joined by a massed choir of four hundred people demonstrating with momentous power that we have more in common in music. This year the massed choir was the product of workshop partnerships between a huge, diverse range of choirs and refugee centres. All combined at the end of the concert for a vast live rendition of Human Kind.

Justin Stanton, centrifugal force of Snarky Puppy on keyboards and trumpet, brought his composition Outlier from the 2014 Snarky Puppy album 'We Like It Here' (GroundUp Music), performing it with a UK-US band, featuring Alex Western-King on tenor sax.
