Stoney Edwards had a hit on this in 1973. My father Larry Nolen Sr. owned a recording studio in Seguin texas back then,and we had the pleasure of meeting Stoney,He came in the studio and did a couple of demos. And i remember thinking, man this guy can really sing,we thought he was great.
