Sure, you know the Royal Guardsmen for their 4 Snoopy hits (Snoopy Vs. The Red Baron, The Return Of The Red Baron, Snoopy's Christmas and Snoopy For President), but what you may not know is that they were a serious rock and pop group who were trying to break out of the novelty vein. They had several great records that weren't novelties, and this one, from the summer of 1967, was one of them that came right in the middle of their Snoopy releases. Since it was not a novelty, the record went nowhere. That's a shame since it's a great recording. On the LP, the song could be found under the title Any Wednesday, which was also the title shown on some copies of the 45, but as you can see here, mine simply calls the song Wednesday. Enjoy!
